Sharing a visit summary

You can send one visit to anyone with a link. To let someone see all your visits in their own Kin, add them as a follower.

How do I share a visit?

Open the visit and tap Share at the top. Under Share this visit, choose Message, Email, Copy link, or More. Kin makes a private link to that one visit and sends it the way you picked. Right after you end a recording, the Visit saved screen also asks "Share this visit?"

Who can open the link?

Anyone who has it, for 7 days. On an iPhone with Kin installed, the link opens in the Kin app. Anywhere else it opens in a web browser and shows what to know, the full summary, and next steps. The person doesn't need a Kin account. The link works even if the visit is private, so only send it to people you trust with the visit.

Who can share a visit?

The person the visit is for, and their admins. Viewers can't share. If Kin says you don't have permission to share, ask the owner or an admin to send it. If Kin asks you to complete your profile, add the missing details and try again.

How do I let someone see all my visits?

Add them as a follower. Tap your name at the top of the Home tab, then Account settings → Sharing → Add a follower. See Followers and roles.

Someone sent me a link. How do I keep seeing their visits?

Open the link in the Kin app and sign in. Above the visit you'll see when your access ends. Tap Request to follow, then Send follow request. The owner and their admins get your request. If they approve, you follow them and see their future visits in your Kin.

How do I stop sharing?

A link stops working on its own 7 days after you create it. To stop someone following you, go to Account settings → Sharing, tap the person, then Remove.
