Adding a provider

You can search Kin's provider directory or add your doctor by hand, right from a visit.

How do I add a provider to a visit?

Open the visit and tap the Provider row near the top (it shows "None selected" until you add one). Kin opens a search screen where you can type a name. It shows your current and recent providers first, and you can narrow results by Specialty or Location.

What if I can't find my provider?

If nothing matches, tap "add a new provider" and enter their name, specialty, city, and state by hand. Only first and last name are required. If you don't know what state your provider is in, select your own state.

Can I edit a provider I added?

Yes, if you added them yourself. Find them in the search list and tap the pencil icon next to their name to update their details. Providers from Kin's directory can't be edited this way.

Can I remove a provider from a visit?

Yes. Open the Provider search from the visit and tap the X next to their name. This only removes them from that visit, it doesn't delete the provider from Kin.
