Being in a group text with Kin doesn't automatically give anyone access to your visits. What Kin shares depends on who asks questions about a visit, and who's in the group.

### What if I ask about my own visits in a group chat?

Kin answers questions about your visits that aren't marked private, even if others in the group don't follow you. The same goes for a profile you're an admin of. Kin keeps private visits, notes that aren't tied to a visit, and your health record out of the group, unless everyone in it can already see them. Kin only answers when you ask. It won't bring up your visits on its own.

### What if I ask about someone I follow?

Kin answers only when that person, or one of their admins, is in the group, and everyone in the group follows them. Even then, Kin shares only finished visits that aren't private. It doesn't share upcoming visits. If the person isn't in the group, Kin will inform you that it can only talk about their visits in a chat with them or one of their admins. If someone in the group doesn't follow them, Kin says not everyone here can see their visits, and names the owners or admins in the group who can share them.

### Why did Kin say it can't help?

Kin may say it can't help if someone is asking about a private visit. The account owner, or one of their Admins, can ask Kin about these visits directly or share the visit by link. If part of a question is answerable, Kin answers that part.

### Can I share a visit in the group?

If you're the owner or an admin, you may ask, for example, "Share my last visit with everyone here." Kin sends a link to that one visit, and anyone with the link can open it for 7 days. The link covers that visit only, not your other visits, notes, or health record. If more than one visit fits what you asked, Kin asks you to share it from the Kin app or in a one-to-one text with Kin. Kin doesn't mention the visit's date, doctor, or specialty in the group.

### Can I add someone in the group as a Viewer of an account?

Yes, if you're the owner or an Admin of that account. Ask Kin, for example, "Add Sam as a viewer." If someone else asks, Kin checks with the owner in the group and waits for the owner's own reply. You remove followers in the app.

Before adding a viewer, Kin asks once whether any past visits should stay private. It won't list your visits in the group, so name the ones to keep private, or say none. Admins see every visit, including private ones. If the person doesn't follow you yet, they get an invitation to accept in the Kin app.

If someone else asks about your visits, Kin doesn't check with you first. It answers only when you or one of your Admins is in the group and everyone there follows you, and then only from visits that aren't private. Otherwise it doesn't answer.
