# Apple Watch: Record a visit for someone you care for

If you manage a family member's visits, you can choose who a recording is for right from your watch.

1. On the recording screen, tap the initial in the bottom-left corner.
2. In **Visit for**, pick yourself or the person you care for. A red checkmark shows who is selected.
3. Tap **X** to go back to the recording.
