# Apple Watch: End a visit and find your summary

1. When the visit is over, tap the red stop button. The recording pauses.
2. Tap **End visit**.
3. The watch shows **Sending to iPhone**, then a green checkmark and **On your iPhone**.

The recording stays on the watch until your iPhone has it, so you don't lose it if the phone isn't nearby.
