### How do I manage notification preferences?

Go to **Account settings → Push notifications** and switch them on or off. Kin sends reminders before visits, a notification when a summary is ready, updates when someone shares with you or asks for access, and a note when your monthly Recap is ready. If you've switched them on and still get nothing, check that Kin is allowed to send notifications in your phone's settings.

### Will I get a reminder before my appointment?

Yes. Kin reminds you 2 hours before a visit, and again 30 minutes before, as long as the visit has a time. Turn reminders off in **Account settings → Push notifications**.

### Can I choose a different reminder time?

No. Kin sends one reminder 2 hours before a timed visit and another 30 minutes before it. You can't choose different times, and Ask Kin can't set a separate reminder for something to bring or do. To get another reminder, use your phone's reminder app.
