### Where do I download or update Kin?

On iPhone, download Kin from the [App Store](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/kin-record-doctor-visits/id6756894542). On Android, download it from [Google Play](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.meetkin.android).

To install, open the store listing on your phone and tap **Get** on iPhone or **Install** on Android. To update Kin, open its listing in the same store and tap **Update** if that option appears.

### How do I log in on a new device?

Download Kin on the new device and enter your phone number — you'll get a verification code by text. Once verified, your account (visits, summaries, and followers) will sync over. Your old device stays logged in unless you manually sign out of it.

### Can I be logged into Kin on more than one device at once?

Yes, you can be logged in on multiple devices at the same time. Just keep in mind that recording only happens on whichever device you tap "Start Recording" on.

### I didn't get my code

Wait a moment, then tap **Send another code**. If it still doesn't arrive, tap **Didn't receive a code?** in Kin for steps that fit your phone:

- On iPhone, Messages may have filtered the text. Open Messages, tap Filters, then Recently Deleted (on iOS 18, tap Edit, then Show Recently Deleted). Open the Kin conversation, tap Recover, then come back to Kin and enter the code.
- On Android, Google Messages may have marked it as spam. Open Messages, tap your profile picture, then Spam & blocked. Open the Kin conversation, tap Not spam or Unblock, then come back to Kin and enter the code.

Typed the wrong number? Tap **Change number**. If Kin says "Too many tries," wait a minute and try again.
